“All children deserve great childhoods, and we all have a role to play.” This quote has informed and inspired the work of Prevent Child Abuse Illinois (PCA Illinois) for more than 30 years. PCA Illinois envisions an Illinois where all children grow up in healthy, nurturing homes and communities free of abuse, neglect, violence or endangerment of any kind, and you can help.  Over the years, individuals, families and organizations like yours have made gifts to PCA Illinois to support our programs and to make caring for children a priority. It takes all of us to lay a solid foundation on which to build safe communities and strong families.

• A $15 gift will buy a swaddling wrap for a newborn and train expectant parents 5 techniques for calming a crying baby. Crying is the number one trigger for shaken baby syndrome.

• A $50 gift will provide a training such as the Effects of Childhood Trauma or the Effects of Domestic Violence to 30 professionals working with Illinois families.

• A $100 gift can purchase 10 Stewards of Children workbooks used to train parents, teachers and other adults how to prevent and respond to child sexual abuse.
