#GoBlueIllinois Public Awareness Campaign
Join Prevent Child Abuse Illinois every April and #GoBlueIllinois !
We encourage you to light up the state blue through our #GoBlueIllinois campaign to raise awareness for Child Abuse Prevention Month.
PCA Illinois works statewide with different city leaders, business owners, and community members to promote our #GoBlueIllinois campaign and raise public awareness. One of the ways PCA Illinois is encouraging city leaders, business owners, and community members to get involved in advocacy is by changing their light bulbs blue among city halls, main streets, local businesses, and front porch lights.
PCA Illinois also partners with bakeries across the state to promote the #GoBlueIllinois campaign and raise public awareness. It's a unique way for staff to reach out to get the community involved in advocacy efforts. Bakeries "go blue” during the month of April by placing royal blue icing on baked goods, incorporating a blue pinwheel or a blue ribbon in pastry designs, and more!
