COMMUNITY PRESENTATION
Nationwide, thirty to fifty percent of children found in Methamphetamine labs test positive for the
drug in their urine. With such an alarming statistic, it is impossible to ignore the correlations
between Methamphetamine use and production and child abuse and neglect. PCA Illinois' focus is to
spread awareness of the destructive effects of Methamphetamine on children and families as part of
our agency's mission to protect children and promote healthy families. Learning about the harmful
effects of Methamphetamine can help your agency or program protect children too.
