SPECIAL - BLUE RIBBON CAMPAIGN AWARD

In honor and appreciation for many volunteer hours, Roy Harley, on behalf of Prevent Child Abuse Illinois staff and board of directors and the Illinois Department of Children and Family Services presented a "Special Blue Ribbon Campaign Award" to the members of the GFWC Illinois Federation Of Women's Clubs Federation on April 2, 2006.

GFWC Illinois Federation of Women's Clubs have continued their commitment and excellence in providing public awareness and education about child abuse prevention for more than ten years. GFWC Illinois' special emphasis project is Prevent Child Abuse -- A Safe Place for Every Child.

The organization, with over 20,000 members in Illinois, has worked on a variety of projects during this time to help prevent child abuse in communities across the state. GFWC Illinois has worked especially hard with Prevent Child Abuse Illinois to implement and promote, Healthy
